The Golden Girls ended in 1992 when Bea. Arthur (Dorothy Zbornak) decided to leave the show.In the season finaly Dorothy marries Lucas Hollingsworth,Blanches uncle.After they get married they go to live in Atlanta leaving the rest of the girls alone.A month after Dorothy leaves the house Blanche,Rose and Sophia decide to sell the house and buy a hotel called 'The Golden Palace'
